What are Returned Peace Corps Volunteers Rotarians Doing?

PFP's main focus is collaborative projects between Peace Corps and Rotary.  That said, there are many projects that Rotarians who served as Peace Corps Volunteers are currently implementing.  PFP is going to report on those projects at our website.  As we become aware of these projects we will post them on this page, so check back occasionally an d be inspired! 



Good news for a gloomy time: Polio has been eradicated from Africa

As of Aug. 25, it is official. The World Health Organization African Region has been certified free of the wild poliovirus.

This is great news and has been a long time coming. At this time last year, Nigeria, the last polio-endemic country in Africa, had gone three full years without a case of wild polio. But certification...

On May 29, President Donald Trump declared his decision to withdraw the U.S. from the World Health Organization (WHO) and leveled accusations that it had failed to alert the world of the gravity of the COVID-19 virus in a timely manner and is too closely aligned with China. It is imperative that we set aside our focus on assigning blame right now and focus on saving lives. There will be plenty of time.....
