Rotary-Peace Corps Week 2022

We had a great time celebrating Peace Building on the Ground with the second annual Rotary-Peace Corps Week in September! Thank you to event chair, Erica Brouillette, for the vision and leadership in making the event happen and to Rotary Liaison, Carrie Golden, and Peace Corps Liaison, Ted Adams, for helping promote the event. Peace Corps Volunteers are Back in the Field!

Two years after all Peace Corps Volunteers were brought home because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they began returning to service overseas in March 2022. In the months since, posts around the world have been busy welcoming back Peace Corps Volunteers and Response Volunteers to work alongside communities. As of August 2022, Volunteers have returned to some two dozen countries with invitations out for Volunteers to return to 51 countries so far.
